The composite score and metric breakdown above give a data-driven answer. The score reflects Pinnacle's actual performance on best odds rate, vig charged, and line leadership across all tracked sports in the most recent month — not editorial opinion or advertising. A score above 60 indicates consistently competitive odds; a score above 75 puts a book in the top tier.

The Best Odds Rate metric above shows what percentage of markets Pinnacle offered the top price on. A rate above 30% is strong in a crowded market. Check the per-sport breakdown table to see whether Pinnacle is particularly strong or weak for specific sports you bet on.

The Avg Vig metric shows the average juice Pinnacle charges on head-to-head markets. This is expressed as a percentage of handle — lower is better for bettors. The overall rankings page lets you compare Pinnacle's vig directly against every other tracked book in the same month.

The Line Leader Rate is a useful signal here. Books with high leader rates tend to move lines first in response to sharp action, which typically means tighter limits but sharper pricing. Books with low leader rates may be softer — they follow the market rather than set it, and may hold better prices briefly after moves.
